Family Support Worker - Family Time
At Spencer Clarke Group, we''re working closely with a valued Local Authority partner in Durham to appoint an experienced Family Support Worker to join their Early Help and Family Support Service.In this role, you''ll play a key part in supporting children, young people and families to achieve positive and sustainable change. You''ll work directly with families who require targeted support, helping them build resilience, strengthen relationships and reduce the need for statutory intervention.Key Responsibilities:Delivering early help and targeted family support through home visits, direct work and practical interventions.Completing high?quality assessments, including Early Help Assessments, risk assessments and family plans.Coordinating and facilitating family time/contact sessions where required.Managing a varied caseload, ensuring timely recording, planning and review of all work.Working collaboratively with schools, health professionals, social workers and wider multi?agency partners.Promoting the safety, wellbeing and development of children at all times, following safeguarding procedures.Key Requirements:Experience working directly with children, young people and families in a support, early help or safeguarding setting.Strong assessment and report?writing skills.Ability to manage a busy caseload and work independently.Experience facilitating or supervising family time/contact.Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.Contract Length: 3 months initially ..... full job details .....
