To support this growth, we''re looking to recruit our first-ever HGV Technician - someone who can take ownership of our fleet workshop, lead all maintenance activities, and help us build an efficient, professional setup from the ground up.The RoleThis is a hands-on position for an experienced HGV Technician / Workshop Manager who''s confident in every aspect of heavy vehicle maintenance and management. You''ll take full control of the workshop and play a key role in developing our internal maintenance operation. Key Responsibilities:Carry out servicing, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a mixed fleet of HGVs and trailers.Oversee all MOT preparations, ensuring vehicles meet DVSA standards.Manage engine, gearbox, brake, and electrical work independently.Take charge of the day-to-day running of the workshop and set up systems for preventative maintenance.Identify and recommend equipment, tools, and systems needed to establish a fully functional workshop.Maintain service records and ensure full compliance with safety and transport regulations.Work closely with management to plan maintenance schedules and minimise vehicle downtime.Support the company''s growth by building a ..... full job details .....
