Production Operative
PRODUCTION OPERATIVE - START TOMORROW - TRANSPORT REQUIRED We are recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a manufacturer currently expanding its workforce. This position offers a varied, hands-on role in a busy production setting. Production Operatives will have the chance to gain new skills and progress over time Outskirts of Newark-on-Trent 12.71/hour Monday-Friday 06:00-16:00 with Saturdays on a rota basis worked. Successful production operatives will be placed across different areas of the operation depending on business needs. Duties include: Preparing and handling materials for production processes Assembling products or components to specification Supporting the operation of manufacturing machinery (full training provided) Carrying out basic quality checks using measuring equipment Keeping workstations clean, organised, and safe Meeting output targets within set timeframes Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow To be considered as a production operative you should be/have: Dependable with a strong work ethic Comfortable with physical, manual work Good eye for detail and accuracy Able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment Open to learning new processes and techniques Team-oriented but also capable of working independently Your experience might come from being a production operative, a machine operator, a roofer, labourer or any other role where you may have been using machinery, nail guns or staple guns and where you were used ..... full job details .....
