We are supporting a fast-paced, private equity-backed business based in Hull in the search for an Interim Head of Finance. This is a key leadership role within the finance function, ideally suited to a technically strong, chartered accountant who is immediately available and able to add value from day one.The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team to strengthen financial reporting, controls and governance across the business during a period of growth and transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesFull ownership of financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reportingLeading the statutory accounts process and managing the year-end auditStrengthening financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks across the organisationOversight of the balance sheet, reconciliations and reporting integritySupporting improvements to financial processes, reporting quality and internal controlsActing as a key partner to the senior leadership team and private equity stakeholdersProviding leadership and direction to the finance team while maintaining high standards of deliveryAbout YouFully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (ideally chartered)Proven experience operating at Head of Finance or Financial Controller levelStrong technical accounting background with statutory reporting and audit experienceTrack record of strengthening financial controls, governance and complianceComfortable operating in fast-paced, PE-backed or high-growth ..... full job details .....
