AccountantKetteringSalary to £35kWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join a busy Finance Department in Kettering The role reports to the Financial Controller and offers the opportunity to work across multiple teams, including UK and overseas colleagues. Full training will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of management accounts and financial forecastsAssist with year-end audits, including documentation and liaising with auditorsMaintain monthly balance sheet reconciliationsManage VAT reporting and complianceSupport monthly and annual stock takesMaintain fixed asset registerAnalyse financial data and prepare reportsApply standard costing to test equipment productsSet up and amend customer accountsProcess sales invoicing for overseas entitiesManage expense claims, credit card statements, and petty cash in foreign currenciesAssist with monthly payroll processingEssential RequirementsProven all-round accounting experience, including monthly management accountsIdeally AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or recognised equivalentStrong team player with excellent communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and accuracyAbility to influence and develop others within the teamCompetent in intermediate-level ExcelDesirable SkillsExperience with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Customer Engagement systemsUnderstanding of account consolidationPayroll experienceBenefits25-30 days annual leave (service related)Life assuranceGroup personal ..... full job details .....
