Our client, a prominent force in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking a Quality Engineer on a contract basis to join their team in Harlow. This Fixed Term Contract (FTC) role spans 3-4 months with an essential focus on QA/ENG Test witnessing. Our client is looking for a professional capable of operating in a complex engineering and legislative environment whilst contributing to high-profile programmes delivered to customers in both the UK and internationally.Key Responsibilities:Perform First Article Inspections (FAIRs), preferably to AS9102 standards.Investigate defects to identify and address root causes.Maintain quality records using QPulse.Monitor and report status effectively and timely for assigned programmes or areas of responsibility.Interface and communicate with programme and functional areas to support business goals.Conduct Quality Audits including product release and process audits.Provide support during external accreditation audits and knowledge of regulatory requirements (AS9100 and ISO 9001).Ensure customer contractual requirements and external regulations are understood and adhered to.Ensure effective and timely closure of Audit NCs, RCCA, customer complaints, and continual improvement tasks.Job Requirements:Essential Candidate Qualities:A self-starting and confident team player who works well with others and sets a positive example.Experience and working knowledge of FAIRs to AS9102 Standards and related documentation.Background in Quality ..... full job details .....
