Electrician (Contract) Ongoing Work Location: Nottingham Job Type: Contract (Ongoing) Rate: Competitive day rate (DOE) About the Role We are currently recruiting for Electrical Test Engineers for ongoing contract work in Nottingham. This is not a standard electrician role we are specifically looking for specialist electrical test engineers with strong experience in inspection, testing, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Carry out inspection and testing in line with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations Complete and submit accurate Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) Perform fault finding and ensure installations meet current regulations Work across commercial sites, including large-scale properties Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on testing and inspection Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) ESSENTIAL NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) Valid ECS or CSCS card Experience completing EICRs (Electrical Inspection Condition Reports) Ideally experienced testing large commercial properties Full UK driving licence (desirable) What We re Looking For Specialist test engineers (not just general electricians) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage workload Reliable, professional, and safety-focused Apply Now If you re an experienced Electrical Test ..... full job details .....
