We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused AAT Part Qualified or experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day accounting tasks while working closely with the wider business.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing purchase and sales invoicesBank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing and posting journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation)Assisting with month-end and year-end closePreparing VAT returns (UK)Maintaining accurate accounting recordsSupporting management reporting and ad-hoc finance tasksLiaising with external accountants where requiredAbout YouAAT qualified or studying (or equivalent experience) OR proven experience as a BookkeeperStrong working knowledge of double-entry bookkeepingExperience using accounting software (e.g. Sage, SAP)Confident with Excel and financial dataHighly organised with excellent attention to detailAble to work independently and manage deadlinesLocation: Leeds - Office-basedSalary: £28-£33 depending on experienceHours: Full-time 8.30am - 17.00pm Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 15.00pm FridayHuntress Search Ltd acts as a Recruitment Agency in relation to all Permanent roles and as a Recruitment Business in relation to all Temporary roles.We practice a diverse and inclusive recruitment process ..... full job details .....
