IPS Group are working closely with a specialist Insurer to appoint a new Lead Property and Casualty Underwriter following the launch of their new product. This role will be key to the continued growth of their business regionally. This role will focus on both PandC however it will lean more towards property as they have recently appointed a casualty specialist.The will be focusing on the upper mid market segment within UK domiciled business. The main areas being manufacturing, logistics and real estate. Minimum premiums will start at £10,000 with average premiums likely to be £50-100k with some cases higher. Sums insured will start at £25 million potentially up to £1 Billion. This role will involve both new business and existing business case management, you must be adept and open to both of these areas. There are established relationships with all large global and regional Brokers which you will work closely with.This is a high profile role where you will have visibility throughout the business working at a high level technically with opportunity to move in to portfolio management in the future. There are plans to also recruit a more junior Underwriter who you will work closely offering support and development.
