This role involves performing high-precision grinding operations on aircraft components using cylindrical and surface grinding machines, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and company procedures.Key Responsibilities:Operate all types of grinding machines to fine limitsWork unsupervised or with minimal supervisionRead and understand technical drawingsWork with cylindrical and surface grinding machinesMaintain awareness and understanding of company environmental proceduresMaintain Practical Experience Record (PER) bookTrain personnel within a specified area, subject to qualifications and experienceComply with safety and environmental regulations and company proceduresJob Requirements:Experience in machining, particularly with internal and external grinding machinesPreferred background in aerospace, although not essentialKnowledge of CNC grinding is advantageousEducation and Qualifications:Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalentFluent in written and spoken EnglishPersonal Qualities:Initiative and strong analytical skillsGood communication skills and ability to interact with various levels of managementPlanning, organisation, and administrative abilities, with PC literacyAbility to maintain performance under pressure and solve problems effectivelyStrong team player with a willingness to learn and pass on knowledgeWorking ..... full job details .....
