The person holding this position will report to the Head of IT.Core Responsibilities

Provide 2nd line support on all aspects of the IT infrastructure and daily BAU activities.Participate in IT project work, procurement, and liaising with suppliers.Embrace continuous improvement within the team, making processes efficient and effective.This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.Key Areas of Responsibility

Undertake Infrastructure IT Service Delivery at the Hengoed MandS site.Support applications at the Hengoed MandS site.Ensure maximum uptime of IT infrastructure at regional level.Build effective relationships with colleagues and the business.Analyze and propose methods to improve service delivery.Follow project methodologies for IT technical projects and improvements.Contribute to and follow all global and local IT processes.Participate in projects and specific technology areas as required.May include a specialist area such as Desktop or Database support.Some out-of-hours work may be required, including being part of the on-call rota after training.Knowledge and Skills
