Senior Support Worker - Children’s Homes at Keys GroupLocation: Buxton, DerbySalary: From £29,230 per annum plus an additional £3k - £6k per annum for sleep-ins (4 – 8 sleep-ins per month at £62.64 per sleep-in)Hours: Full-time long day shifts plus sleep-ins. A Full UK Driving licence is required.Keys Group is opening a specialist children’s home and is recruiting several experienced and qualified Senior Support Workers to join this exciting new venture. Our 8-bed home will have an onsite education facility with a curriculum tailored around adventure and outdoor pursuits alongside traditional subjects. We are looking for people who have experience in children’s residential care and are working toward a Level 3 qualification in the children’s residential workforce to lead by example and provide the highest level of therapeutic support.You will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor pursuits and will be supported by an enhanced, specialist clinical team with bespoke training to meet the needs of the young people living in the home.If you share our EPIC values of Excellence, Passion, Integrity and Caring, you are invited to unlock your career potential with Keys Group.Responsibilities

Work with the team to promote and support the young people in our care, providing a safe and nurturing environment.Facilitate day-to-day management professionally and support the Service Manager in delivering high-quality care.Lead a team along with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support for each child.Record events and observations, prepare progress reports, and implement care plans and records.Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children, developing trusting relationships that foster recovery, growth and lasting change.What do you need?

Experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.Excellent communication skills, caring disposition, flexibility and resilience.A minimum of 12 months’ experience in a Children''s Home and a Level 3 qualification in residential childcare (recognised for hourly pay rate).Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins; both full-time and part-time hours may be available.Full UK Driving licence is beneficial.Benefits
