CORE POWER is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant with at least 5 years of experience to join our dynamic finance team. Based in our brand-new offices in Chiswick Park, you will work closely with the Financial Controller and the wider team in London, Washington, DC, and Tokyo.In this role, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across our UK operations and consolidated entities in the US, UK, and Japan. This role involves supporting cash flow management, assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial reports and maintaining accurate accounting records. The role will also include reviewing payroll, preparing VAT returns, and providing insights to support effective decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven individual looking for progression in our fast-growing company.Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:Consolidated Accounts: Assist in the preparation of consolidated accounts for our entities in the US, UK, and Japan.Cash Flow: Prepare and manage cash flow statements.Trial Balance: Execute and take ownership of trial balance analysis.Accounts Payable and Receivable:Supplier Invoices: Check supplier invoice posting, ensuring accurate coding by entity and cost code. Post supplier invoices as required.Expense Claims: Review employee expense claims.Supplier Invoice Approval: Review supplier invoices for authorised approvals.Customer Invoices and Credit Notes: Create and post customer invoices and credit notes as required.Aged Debtors/Creditors: Monitor monthly aged debtors/creditors listings, investigating and chasing any outstanding balances.Payments and Reconciliations:Weekly Supplier Payments: Prepare and input weekly supplier payment schedules into Banks when required.Month-End Journals: Post month-end journals, including depreciation, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, payroll etc. as approved by the Financial Controller.Bank Reconciliations: Complete monthly bank reconciliations and analyse accounts and variances.Payroll and Compliance:Payroll: Review payroll and enter information to nominal ledger.VAT: Prepare VAT for submission.Additional Duties:Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements.Audit: Support audit requirements and provide necessary documentation.KYC: Assist with Know Your Customer (KYC) processes for shareholders.Share Certificates: Help with the registration of new investors.Insurance: assist in the preparation of insurance processes for the year.Pension: Handle pension-related tasks.Educational Requirements

Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.ACCA professional accounting qualification.Work Experience

A minimum of 5 years'' accounting experienceProven working experience as Management Accountant.Experience with international accounting standards.Previous experience in a multi-entity, international environment.Technical Competencies

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong understanding of international accounting standardsExceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports.Good knowledge of financial laws, regulations, and best practicesAbility to collaborate effectively within a team.Demonstrates an excellent work ethic and practices fairness.Ability to work on multiple accounting tasks.Behaviour
