NHS Ayrshire and ArranHours: 37 hours per weekShift pattern: Mon-SunThis post is permanentWe are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with an interest in acute frailty to join our Older People Services team, RAH.Responsibilities are: to provide rapid specialist occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation to older people in RAH in our Frailty Unit and across the Older Peoples rehabilitation wards. Patient centred, MDT working is a key aspect of the role working in a close, supportive MDT.Suitable applicants will have experience of supporting staff and/or students.You will be professionally supported by a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to focus on both personal and service development to drive the OT/OPS service forward in line with Board and RCOT objectives.You must be flexible, enthusiastic, innovative and a team player with well-developed communication skills.It is essential you have a Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy with current registration with the HCPC, experience working in the clinical area and evidence of relevant post graduate courses/ CPD.
