You''ll be the go-to person for electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs, working independently on complex issues as well as alongside the workshop team to ensure the reliability of a 60-vehicle coach fleet. The RoleWorking on a modern and varied fleet of PCV/HGV vehicles, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and electronic systems to ensure vehicles remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.Key Responsibilities:Electrical and electronic fault finding/diagnostics on PCV/HGV vehicles using diagnostic tools and test equipmentRepair and replacement of electrical components including starters, alternators, batteries/charging systems, lighting, switches, sensors, and control unitsWiring repairs including loom repairs, connectors, shorts/earth faults, and carrying out electrical installations as requiredSupporting roadside and running repairs when rostered on call-outAssisting with MOT preparation and ensuring defects are rectified promptly to a high standardEnsuring vehicles are maintained in line with Operator Licence requirements and company standardsCompleting all paperwork accurately, including job cards, service sheets, and defect reports Working HoursShift ..... full job details .....
