Ownership of monthly management accounts, including preparation of accurate trial balances and variance analysisProduction of detailed budget monitoring reports and support with forecastingOversight of balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assetsManagement of VAT compliance and credit control processesCoordination of internal and external audits, ensuring robust financial controlsSupervision of banking activities and intercompany transactionsLeading system and process improvements to enhance efficiencyActing as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders and deputising for the Head of Finance when required Suitable candidate for the Financial Accountant role: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finalist with strong technical knowledgeProven experience in a similar role, ideally within a complex or multi-entity environmentAdvanced Excel and systems skills; experience with ERP systems is advantageousExcellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across the businessHighly organised, proactive, and ..... full job details .....
