Behaviour Mentor

Blue Skies Education are working with a school-based in North London to successfully recruit a behaviour mentor to work at this-primary school age-provision. The children at the provision have-documented special education needs and/or disabilities. This can range from neuro-diverse conditions, such as autism or ADHD, to challenging behaviour profiles and early signs of social and emotional mental health. The age range is from 5-11 years of age and the successful behaviour mentor will be working 1:1 or within small groups throughout the school day.
What we are looking for:
- Graduates of-psychology, criminology or an education based degree
- Previous experience working with young people is ideal but not imperative for the right candidate
- Calm and composed personalities who can remain as such in situations where children demonstrate challenging behaviour
- Inspirational mentors to children, helping them to enjoy their daily school experience
- Sound knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education (we can help you here!)
- Natural instinct to keep children safe
- Reliable and conscientious - this job offers amazing experience but comes swith-huge responsibility!

Vacancy Details:
- Hours: 32.5hrs per week, day shifts over Mon to Fri (term time only)
- Start Date: September 2025
- End Date: Indefinite, could become permanent
- Location: Enfield
- Pay: -1415 per hour (PAYE)-
