Structural Steelwork Paint Sprayer Location: Droitwich Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour (DOE) + overtime up to £18.75/hr Hours: 40 hours per week + regular overtime (early/late starts) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: Immediate About the Role A well-established structural steel fabrication company is looking to recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer to join its production team. You will be responsible for finishing fabricated steelwork components to a high standard using in-house spray-painting and shot-blasting facilities. This is a hands-on position working in a modern facility equipped with advanced fabrication machinery and overhead cranes. Key Responsibilities Apply protective and decorative coatings to structural steelwork according to job specifications Safely operate 5-tonne overhead cranes to move steel items for coating and dispatch Prepare steel surfaces using shot-blasting, masking, and degreasing techniques Conduct quality checks to ensure full coverage, correct finish, and specification compliance Assist with early morning and late afternoon loading of articulated lorries when required Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment Adhere to all company health and safety and quality procedures What We''re Looking For Prior experience in steelwork or industrial paint spraying Confident and competent in using overhead cranes (5-tonne) Physically fit and comfortable handling large steel structures Flexible with working hours and open to ..... full job details .....
