Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Provide in-class support to students and teachers, including 1:1 and small group interventions

• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources

• Support students with special educational needs and/or English as an additional language

• Promote positive behaviour and a safe, respectful learning environment

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and parents/carers

• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including clubs, trips, and enrichment activities

• Experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential)

• A calm, patient, and caring approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A commitment to safeguarding and child protection

• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, or willingness to train)
