Your Purpose

We are seeking a talented Facilities and General Services Specialist to join our team and help us achieve our goal of providing a warm and functional workspace that enhances employee engagement and encourages socialisation.
As Facilities and General Services Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our physical workspace. We are working on a project to transform/improve our office space – in which you will work in close collaboration with external vendors and in full alignment of business needs. You will support with the day-to-day operations of our facilities, support with event management and utilise your customer focused approach to create an environment that is positive for the needs of the business. This varied role covers all aspects of operations for the Stockley Park Office.
Your Impact
Supports the Facilities and General Services Manager and the wider team to provide direction and expertise to operational areas by promoting best practice and uphold Company valuesAssists with maintaining the highest standard of cleaning and general maintenance within the building, including managing third party contractors accordinglyMonitors risks relating to facilities and building services, ensuring assessments are completed regularly and promptly and risks are mitigated as much as possible, reporting any cases of non-compliance to Facilities and General Services ManagerConducts regular inspections of premises including car park and waste storage, conducting first line diagnostic/corrective maintenance when and where required.Supports with financial performance and spending analysis/control, including PO creation and inputting of invoicesFosters long term partnerships with colleagues and Facilities Management contractors to increase and retain excellent working relationships
Your Journey so far
At least 3 years’ experience working as a Facilities Specialist/Assistant (or similar)Experience managing third party contractors/suppliersPrevious IOSH/Health and Safety qualification/s essential18th Edition Electrical qualification desirableExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to develop good working relationships with a wide range of peopleGood Microsoft Office competency including PowerPoint and Excel
Your Essentials
Full UK Driving Licence is desirableFull Right to Work in the UK required
