Senior Social Media Manager | Large Fashion and Home Retailer | 12 Month FTC | London/HybridThis maternity cover opportunity is for a Senior Social Media and Influencer Lead to take ownership of a high-profile social and influencer strategy within a fast-paced, multi-category online retailer. With a bold new brand direction in place, this role offers the chance to shape organic social, influencer, and celebrity activity at scale.The Senior Social Media and Influencer Lead will oversee a substantial budget and manage a large, creative team, ensuring content and campaigns engage audiences and deliver meaningful brand and commercial impact. Working across fashion, beauty, home, and tech, this role combines cultural insight with commercial thinking to deliver scroll-stopping campaigns.This is a leadership position for a confident, creative operator who is comfortable setting strategy as well as championing innovation and bringing ideas to life.Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategy and execution of organic social, influencer, and celebrity partnerships, ensuring alignment with wider brand and trading priorities.Develop and deliver quarterly and annual content plans, collaborating with brand, PR, paid media, and category teams.Stay ahead of platform trends and algorithm shifts, testing new formats and features to drive innovation.Oversee the influencer programme, building a strong network of creators and negotiating impactful partnerships.Manage high-profile talent relationships to strengthen brand presence across multiple categories.Inspire and develop a growing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and results.Own performance measurement and reporting, providing clear insight to senior stakeholders.Manage a multi-million-pound budget, ensuring smart prioritisation and maximum ROI.What We''re Looking For
Significant experience in social and influencer marketing, including leadership at a senior level.Proven success in delivering end-to-end strategies that balance brand storytelling with commercial performance.Strong knowledge of content planning, social-first campaigns, and multi-platform storytelling.Hands-on experience managing influencers, creators, and talent, with measurable results.Commercial awareness, with experience linking social output to trading goals and negotiating contracts.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Organised, resilient, and action-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects at pace.Strong analytical skills and familiarity with influencer platforms and social analytics tools.Passion for culture, creativity, and innovation, combined with a pragmatic approach to delivery.This position offers the chance to play a defining role in shaping the future of social and influencer marketing for a well-established retailer at a pivotal point of transformation.BBBH34376Seniority level
