Purchase Ledger Clerk
We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the central finance team of a well-established multi-academy trust based in Bolton on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a supportive and busy team environment.
Location: Bolton, BL2
Rate: -16.31 - -17.47/hour DOE
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm (Full-time, Full Year)
Start Date: Immediate/ASAP start available
Contract: Temporary until at least September
What You''ll Be Doing:
- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations
- Assisting with payment runs
- Managing and responding to the finance inbox
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
What We''re Looking For:
- Previous experience within a finance assistant, purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Experience working in a school or education setting would be advantageous, but not essential
