Children''s Support Worker (Experience Required)Contract: Agency/Flexible - often long days or wakes Pay rate: 13 - 16.50 with additional holiday pay. (Rate of pay dependant on experience/qualifications) Location: Swansea and surrounding areasAre you an experienced children''s support worker looking for additional/ad hoc work around your permanent role OR maybe free full time but wanting flexible work - then look no further!Your role will aid in delivering support to children and young people through meeting their emotional, social, physical, and intellectual within their residential homes and out in the community. These individuals will be provided with a personal plan that will enable you to support the young people to have positive experiences while still integrating their boundaries and routine. You will need to be prepared to work 1:1 with those you''re supporting, however, often you will be supported on a 2:1 basis with other staff members.You will be required to take part in daily activities with the young people, so a driver with access to their own vehicle is preferred however not essential. To aid with this however, it is essential that you have attention to detail, great communication skills and are resilient.
