OverviewLead Pricing Analyst - Direct Household: Fantastic opportunity to join our Risk Pricing team as a Lead Pricing Analyst, assisting to plan and deliver pricing related projects to deadline and quality standards. They will directly influence the future growth of the business, with key deliverables of maintaining performance of the portfolio. The role will involve the management of detailed analysis of data using sophisticated techniques within the risk pricing function to recommend rating action to maintain loss ratio position, frequency and severity. In addition, the Lead Pricing Analyst will build pricing capability and core skills within the business, as well as influence the strategic direction of the risk pricing function in the wider Ageas UK Group.

Responsibilities

Develop, validate, review, and approve radar models; exploring new techniques to improve model predictiveness carrying out AvE reviews.

Development and delivery of up to date and accurate datasets for modelling, pricing and monitoring; exploring new data sets and their ability to enhance models.

Development and maintenance of pricing models and support for their deployment.

Carry out detailed analysis on new data sources, developing dashboards and advanced reporting mechanisms to aid stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

2 - 3 years’ experience in insurance pricing or related analytical background.

Highly skilled in the use of programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Python and able to manipulate data.

Experience in SOME of the following predictive modelling techniques e.g. Logistic Regression, Log-Gamma GLMs, GBMs, Elastic Net GLMs, GAMs, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Support Vector Machines and Neural Nets.

Knowledge and/or experience of home pricing.
