We are seeking a passionate and qualified After-School Tutor to join our team in Barnet. This role is ideal for a fully qualified teacher (QTS) who is looking to make a real difference in a more flexible, small-group or 1:1 setting outside of the traditional classroom.

You will be supporting primary and/or secondary students with homework help, subject-specific tutoring, and targeted intervention - all designed to boost confidence and improve academic outcomes.

• Deliver engaging, tailored tutoring sessions for KS1-KS4 students (depending on your expertise)

• Assess student needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

• Support pupils with core subjects (English, Maths, Science)

• Provide regular feedback to parents and the tutoring coordinator

• Create a positive, motivating learning environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

• Recent teaching or tutoring experience in the UK curriculum

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient, encouraging, and organised approach
