As a Bank Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you''ll be part of our valued team at Farnham Hospital.Responsibilities

You will be responsible for maintaining own CPD keeping up to date with new research and developments, especially in relation to evidenced based practice.To participate in the development and training of Occupational Therapy assistants.Participate in clinical supervision and annual staff appraisal scheme.Help with in service development projects and auditsThe post holder will be involved in ensuring membership of appropriate professional bodies remains up to date (HCPC) and to have knowledge of the standards requiredStay up-to-date with statutory and mandatory training relevant to the role.Ensure the activities of the post contribute to providing an equitable service, working with colleagues and the line manager.Depending upon experience this post may require occasional weekend working.The post holder must hold a valid driving licence.We provide support through clinical supervision, in-service training, journal clubs and reviews and preceptorship programmes. BSc/Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalentHCPC (Occupational Therapy) registrationThe ability to work flexibly across specialties as need arisesClinical skills related to the job role as outlined aboveExperience of working within a healthcare organisation at preregistration or post-registration levelKnowledge of relevant national guidance and other relevant initiativesExcellent communication skillsMotivation, adaptability and innovation skillsAccess to a car and a valid UK driving licenceConfident using IT systems and working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)As a Bank Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you''ll be part of our valued team at Farnham Hospital.Additional information
