Role Overview

Key Responsibilities of Supply Teacher

• Deliver pre-planned lessons or adapt teaching materials to suit the needs of the class.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies.
• Provide feedback on student progress to school staff.
• Be prepared to work across different schools and key stages as required.

Essential Qualifications for Supply Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in UK schools across various subjects or key stages.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
