Role OverviewWe are recruiting a Principal Safety Case Engineer within our Nuclear, Defence, and Civil division. The role involves nuclear power, naval nuclear programs, and decommissioning, offering opportunities for career growth and impactful work.

Key Knowledge/Experience Areas

Safety Case Production (e.g., SJP, PCSR, PCmSR, PRS)

Modification/Design Change Submissions (LC/AC 22)

Decommissioning

Functional Safety Assessment

Regulatory Interface

ALARP Assessment

Safety and Risk Assessment

Deterministic and Probabilistic Safety Assessment

Nuclear Safety Legislation and Policy

Engineering Substantiation

Hazop, HAZAN, Criticality, Nuclear Fire

Candidate Requirements

Degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering

Experience in nuclear or high-hazard industries

Chartered Engineer or working towards

Proven ability to deliver nuclear safety strategies on complex projects

Willing to mentor junior staff
