We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the team atour rooftop restaurant in the

Ashmolean Museum -immediate start!The restaurant is open 7 days per week, and the successful candidate will be required to work 5 days per weekincluding weekends.

Mostly day times, only occasional evenings, working hours 7.30-4.30pm/5pm£13.50ph + tronc = approx £16+ per hour or £33k+ per yearContract: Full Time / PermanentQualifications

To qualify for the Chef de Partie role you will need:Level 1 and 2 Food Safety AwardsMinimum 1 years relevant experienceAwareness of manual handling techniquesAwareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safetyExperience of kitchen equipmentExperience of dangerous equipment such as knivesUnderstandable level of English spoken and writtenDesirable and useful but not necessary qualifications include:Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace AwardLevel 3 Food Safety AwardsAlongside some of these more general skills that all good Chef de Partie should possess:Knowledge and ability to run a sectionAbility to work without close supervisionAbility to manage Commis ChefsAbility to produce good quality food in all sections Good oral communicationTeam management skillsHigh level of attention to detailEnthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around youAdaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processesPositive and approachable mannerTeam player qualitiesAdditional Information
