As part of there expansion strategy, we are looking to appoint a highly experienced and ambitious

Head of Event Sales

to join our senior leadership team.This is a pivotal role, working closely with the Managing Director, Founder, and Chairman, leading and developing a dynamic sales team and playing a key role in delivering exceptional, creative events across prestigious London venues and international locations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and motivate a team of five sales professionals

Oversee the use of our CRM system to maximise conversion through venue and agency networks

Drive team development, hiring, training, performance management, and retention

Foster a stimulating, respectful, and high-performing team culture

Manage team operations including holiday approvals, workload balance, and development planning

Report regularly to the senior leadership team on performance, strategy, and challenges

Work with the MD and Head of Marketing to deliver impactful client and venue-facing campaigns including digital content, brochures, proposals, and events

Shape and execute a targeted growth strategy with the leadership team

Lead proactive outreach to secure new venue listings and build new client and agency relationships

Take full accountability for the teams sales targets and gross profit margins

Host tastings, promotional events, and sales meetings

Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and venues

Lead sales reporting and forecasting to the SMT

Represent the business in competitive pitches for high-value projects

Drive inbound and outbound sales across corporate, private, and large-scale event markets

Support and coach junior sales team members

Skills and Experience Required

Minimum 5 years experience in catering, venue, or event industry sales

Proven track record of £1m+ annual sales

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience

Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills

Highly motivated, commercially astute, and results-focused

Strong negotiation and relationship-building ability

Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities
