Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add 2 x CNC Machinists to their team on a permanent basis. You''ll be based in the Glasgow area.

Shift Pattern:

• Day: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am - 1pm
• Back: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 2pm - 9pm
• Night: Monday - Thursday 10pm - 6am, Friday 10pm - 5am

Hourly rate: -27.50 (including shift allowance)

Daily Duties -

• Program, set-up, and operate 4 axis horizontal or 5 axis milling machines to produce precision components
• Interpret engineering drawings and specification
• Inspect finished products to meet quality standards
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot/resolve minor machine issues
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams

Candidate Requirements -

• Time-served or relevant engineering qualification
• Programming knowledge e.g. from scratch or machine side with Fanuc controls
• Previous milling experience
