Head of Research – Family Office (Part Time)

This role is to work for the advisory arm of a long-term endowment-style funds of funds business.You will be required to support the team with investment reporting, research, and write-ups on new funds and investment opportunities prior to submission to the Investment Committee.This is a unique role where you will work directly with the CEO to:Build and maintain a network of LPs, advisors, and placement agentsGenerate new investment sourcing and pipeline via desktop research and networkCurate pipeline and write research notes on approximately 40 top-quartile PE managers and liquid managersReview and re-underwrite existing holdings to enable informed rebalancing discussionsHandle ad hoc projects including maintenance and improvement of tools, templates, and databases for opportunities pipeline, network, reporting, and information managementPrepare monthly and quarterly reports (including board packs) covering performance, key points from managers'' reports, and market commentaryMonitor managers and capture key notes from meetings and updatesIf needed, mentor junior team members to improve reporting products, approaches, and critical thinking.This role suits a qualified CA, ACA, CFA, or CISI with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience who is interested in working part-time.
