M&E Electrical Engineer
Location: Leicester
Term: Permanent
Salary: -35,000 - -45,000 per annum

An established M&E consultancy based in Leicester is looking to recruit an M&E Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. This role will involve working on a variety of building services projects across the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.

The M&E Electrical Engineer will ideally have the following:

• Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  
  
• Proven experience in electrical building services design
  
  
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech
  
  
• Understanding of British Standards and building regulations
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  
  
• Ability to manage projects and work within deadlines
  
  

• Designing and specifying electrical systems for a variety of building projects
  
  
• Preparing technical drawings and documentation
  
  
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and other design team members
  
  
• Conducting site visits and surveys
  
  
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
  
  
• Supporting the wider M&E team in project delivery from concept to completion
