Primary School Cook - Morpeth

Empowering Learning are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Morpeth to recruit an experienced and reliable School Cook to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about preparing nutritious meals for children and enjoys working in a school environment.

• Location: Morpeth
• Hours: 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
• Pay Rate: -15 per hour
• Start Date: ASAP

• Preparing and cooking healthy, balanced meals in line with school standards
• Managing kitchen hygiene and food safety requirements
• Ordering and managing stock
• Ensuring dietary requirements and allergies are catered for
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

• Previous experience as a cook, ideally in a school or similar setting
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one immediately
