Description We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to support the delivery of a major overhead line (OHL) infrastructure scheme in a remote area of the North of Scotland. This is an initial 6-month contract on a large transmission project comprising approximately 590 towers. Part A (survey works) has recently commenced, with Part B in planning and covering civil foundations (including piling), steel erection and conductor stringing. The role is primarily office-based within the project team, focused on developing and managing the delivery programme. Strong civil engineering experience is essential; OHL experience is desirable. Key Duties Develop, manage and maintain the integrated project programme using Primavera P6 Support the planning and sequencing of survey works and subsequent construction phases Build and manage detailed programmes covering civil foundations, piling, steel erection, and wiring activities Work closely with the delivery team to develop logic, phasing, and construction methodology within the programme Identify critical path activities and advise on mitigation strategies Monitor progress, analyse programme performance, and report variances Produce regular progress updates and programme reports for internal and client stakeholders Assess programme impacts of change, risk, and emerging issues Support the commercial team with programme-related information for reporting and claims Ensure alignment between subcontractor programmes and ..... full job details .....
