Part time Sales Ledger Clerk

Location: Clevedon
Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week (ideally spread over 4 - 5 days a week)
Salary: £16,380 per annum (£12.60 per hour)
Contract: Permanent
Hybrid available once comfortable in the role

We''re looking for a meticulous and motivated Sales Ledger Clerk to join a close-knit finance team on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Finance Director, you''ll help keep the numbers balanced, the invoices accurate, and the accounts shipshape all while enjoying a supportive, flexible working environment.

What You''ll Be Doing:

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales ledger records
- Ensuring VAT on all sales invoices is correct and compliant
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure invoices are raised accurately
- Handling internal and external invoice queries efficiently and professionally
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers
- Supporting day-to-day bookkeeping and record keeping
- Monitoring accounts, chasing overdue payments, and resolving payment disputes
- Performing credit checks and setting appropriate limits for new and existing customers
- Assisting with debt recovery when necessary

About You

- AAT Level 1 or 2 qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work independently while being a reliable team player
- Organised, accountable, and committed to maintaining professional standards
