Legal Counsel: Property and Acquisitions (England and Wales Qualified)PermTheale Hybrid (2-3 days per week)You would need to be able to travel to ManchesterYou must be eligible to work in the UK without the need for sponsorshipYou must be England and Wales Qualified Main Purpose of the role:To support the property function of the legal team through providing assistance with all types of property transactions from the acquisition, renewal and upgrades/alterations of sites through to managing the service of statutory notices and issuing claims where required to protect the estate. There will be a substantial element of legal supplier management involved as well as finance control and innovation to the legal process. There will be an emphasis on providing dedicated legal support to the Acquisition project. The successful candidate would be aligned with the demand leads of the Acquisition team and would be responsible for managing a volume of transactions and litigious matters with legal suppliers. The role would report directly into Senior Property Counsel within the Legal and Compliance Team.
