We re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Worker to join our team on a temp-to-perm contract, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role following a successful initial period. What you ll do Be a positive role model, supporting children and young people through everyday challenges. Provide day-to-day care within the home, helping to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. Support young people with routines, activities, education, and emotional wellbeing. Follow individual care plans to ensure consistent, person-centred support. Work on a rota basis, including sleep-in shifts, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of young people at all times. What we re looking for A caring, patient, and reliable individual who can remain calm under pressure. Experience working with children or young people in residential care (or a similar setting). Good communication skills and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships. A full UK driving licence is preferred, but not essential.
