HGV Technician
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at our Blandford, Dorset depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. I am more than happy to discuss further, Thank you. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on HGVs to identify faults and issues. Perform repairs and replacements on various vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time taken for each job. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in the workshop. Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs. Stay updated with the latest industry developments and technologies related to HGV maintenance. Qualifications Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance or engineering (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role is highly desirable.
