Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to source a permanent member of staff to join their team. This is a full-time vacancy for a RandD Design Engineer. Our client is a well-established engineering company, they manufacture a quality product which they supply to customers around the world, in excess of 50 countries worldwide. This is a key role within the business, working from their new, modern, spacious premises, a big part of this role will be to help with new product development/innovation and contribute ideas for continuous improvements to engineering / production process. Key Responsibilities: Product development / innovation. Engineering / production process improvements. Design Engineering, using AutoCAD, Solidworks and Keyshot Taking concepts from idea to saleable product Patenting new products Developing existing product lines Liaising with customers to research and develop products for their specific requirements Reviewing material choices, treatment options etc . This role has no direct reports, but will require the successful candidate to liaise regularly with customers, suppliers and other team members Requirements: Mechanical Engineering Degree. Experience in using AutoCAD, Solidworks and Keyshot. Friendly, professional and committed.
