OverviewThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, qualified Occupational Health Advisor (OHA) to take on a new challenge and join a large, well-respected business in South Wales. Our client is seeking an OHA with pharmaceuticals experience to work at their site in South Wales. Applications are invited from experienced OHAs with an OH qualification and wide experience in all aspects of OHA practice, in particular sickness absence and wellbeing. You must have a UK driving licence and your own car. It would be beneficial to be on Part 3 of the NMC register but not essential. The role involves 60% case management and 40% wellbeing and includes setting up a brand-new wellbeing programme for the business. You will therefore need to be a dynamic worker with the capacity to manage both aspects of the role.
Main duties
Ensure compliance with Department of Health, HandS and other guidelines/legislation
Advise, monitor, and assess clinical practice of the OH team
Assess, plan, implement, deliver and evaluate programmes of care
Work with divisional directors/managers to implement company objectives
Recognise the development needs of junior, or less experienced staff, take appropriate action and maintain and monitor any training plans
Explore and develop further OH business opportunities
Role split: approximately 60% case management and 40% wellbeing; responsible for setting up and delivering a new wellbeing programme

Essential Requirements
NMC Registration Essential (Nursing and Midwifery Council)
Be a Registered General Nurse
Be on Part 3 of the NMC register
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to act as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously when needed
Post registration experience in a variety of settings
Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
Professional awareness and ongoing professional development
Good knowledge base of clinical conditions
