They are looking to grow their Commercial team due to new projects secured in Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall and Ipswich. The business works across the Mixed-Use, Commercial, Education and Healthcare sectors on projects valued c 5m- 15m.The successful candidate will be joining the business to work on a project c 10m Commercial project based near Bury St Edmunds. With a clear structure and programme in place for their employees personal development, this role is a very good opportunity for a surveyor to lead their own projects in a collaborative team environment. Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to; measurement and valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts . Desirable Experience:Minimum 5 years+ experience as an QS working for a Main Contractor or large developer/house builder.Good communication skills.Use of JCT or NEC Contracts is essential.
