Overview

Grant Thornton is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join the Procurement team. The role supports IT/digital, Properties and Facilities Management, Travel, Recruitment, Events and Marketing, with scope to cover all spending as the team develops. You will report to the Senior Procurement Manager and work with subject matter experts across the firm to develop procurement processes and third-party risk management, contributing to the firm’s ESG and inclusion and diversity objectives.Responsibilities

Be the Procurement lead on a variety of indirect spend projects across the business and influence key stakeholders to define new and effective procurement strategies for value and risk mitigation from responsible suppliers.Drive the continual development of procurement policies and processes, including third-party due diligence and risk management.Increase the visibility of procurement and identify opportunities to drive business performance.Adapt traditional procurement processes to an agile, entrepreneurial organization by working with service line leaders.Drive the firm’s ESG strategy to support our commitment to SBTi and our supplier diversity programme.Support stakeholders and finance colleagues to meet business objectives within budget.Ensure accuracy of procurement data (contracts database, spend data, activity tracker).Qualifications

You will have extensive experience in indirect procurement and can translate procurement best practices into policies and processes.Great communication and relationship-building skills; commercially astute with proven negotiation experience.Experience in professional services, partnerships, or financial services is desirable.Experience in supplier management, third-party assurance, and risk management.Experience in ESG and inclusion and diversity within the supply chain; experience in Digital and IT procurement (software and hardware) is a plus.About Grant Thornton
