Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well balanced menus while working with residents to tailor offerings.
Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef''s absence, ensuring a warm and efficient environment.
Participate in menu development, stock control and regular audits while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Create a warm, welcoming, and professional environment and work within budget.

You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well balanced menus whilst working with residents to tailor menus around them. Qualifications
City and Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification
Good understanding of nutrition and experience working with fresh seasonal produce
Personable and warm approach with the ability to engage with residents to create a welcoming environment
Good understanding of HACCP
