ABOUT THE ROLEAs the Assistant Estimator, you’ll support the Head of Estimating and wider pre-construction team in securing new work. Your role will involve assisting with the preparation of tender submissions, carrying out quantity take-offs, and gathering cost information. You’ll play a key part in the early stages of multiple projects, liaising with clients and internal teams to help deliver competitive and accurate bids. You’ll also contribute to the smooth transition from tender stage through to handover with the project delivery team, ensuring all commercial and estimating information is clearly communicated.REQUIREMENTSA degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.Understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods, particularly in RC frame and groundworks.3 + years previous experience in a commercial construction-related role.REWARDS AND BENEFITSSalary range of £45,000 – £55,000 per annum.
