This role covers the full lifecycle-from customer requirements and design through to manufacture and commissioning support.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical schematics, layouts, and test procedures for bespoke control panelsLiaise with customers to define technical requirements and solutionsProduce clear drawings to support efficient panel manufactureDevelop and modify PLC programs where requiredEnsure compliance with UK legislation and relevant EU directivesReview and implement engineering changes (drawings, BOMs, test docs)Provide technical support to production, installation, and commissioning teamsSupport component selection, alternatives, and cost optimisationRequirementsEssential:Degree-level (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical / Engineering disciplineExperience with single and three-phase motors and control systemsProficiency in AutoCAD or similar electrical design softwareStrong communication and problem-solving skillsDesirable:PLC programming (Boolean logic)Knowledge of BS7671 and the EU Machinery DirectiveExperience with frequency inverters or control panel manufactureWhy Apply?Work on technically challenging, bespoke projectsStable, well-established engineering environmentExposure to customers, ..... full job details .....
