This enables us to innovate rapidly, deliver high-quality guest experiences, and maintain brand integrity as we scale at pace.With a target pipeline of 5,000+ room keys across the UK, this is the perfect opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience as we grow into key regional cities across the UKPurpose of the roleAs an Assistant Reservations Manager within our Centralised Reservations Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective operations for reservations across our portfolio of five properties. You will lead a team of Reservations Agents overseeing their activities and ensuring exceptional guest experiences through the seamless handling of reservations and events inquiries, and report to the Reservations Manager. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to the success of our properties by overseeing reservations, meetings, and events processes with a focus on excellence, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.Required ExperienceCommunication:

Create reservations via email and phone, answer calls promptly with a positive greeting.

CRM Software Proficiency:

We use Salesforce for booking inquiries, extensions, and chasing quotes.

Commercial Acumen/Sales:

Promote commercial awareness, empower the team to identify revenue opportunities and maximize bookings.

Attention to Detail/Data Integrity:

Conduct daily reservation and pre-arrival checks for pricing accuracy and PMS data integrity.

Revenue Management/Yield Management:

Apply strategic pricing and yield management to optimize room rates and drive revenue.

Reservation Management:

Oversee individual guest reservations, managing allocations, rates, and availability; oversee group reservations; monitor room availability.

Client Relationship Management:

Build client relationships through in-person meetings.

Team Leadership / Coaching:

Supervise and mentor Reservations Agents, providing guidance, training, and feedback

System Knowledge:

Stay updated on reservation/property management systems.

Collaboration:

Support on-property teams for seamless operations.

Sales:

Identify opportunities to upsell room upgrades, packages, and amenities.

Problem-Solving:

Assist with complex guest inquiries and complaints.

Quality Assurance:

Implement quality assurance for accurate and consistent handling of reservations and event inquiries.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Foster strong relationships with Front Office, Sales, and Marketing.

Support the Guest Experience team when needed.
