Senior Aircraft Maintenance Expert - Shanghai, China.

Our Aerospace client based in Shanghai, require an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Expert with many years experience in all areas of Civil Aircraft MRO. In particular regular use and knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Technical Publications.

The selected candidate that joins them, will be assisting, advising and training the local team on the Technical content that is written into the Maintenance Manuals. Candidates must be willing to live and work in Shanghai for 1-3 years initially. This is a great opportunity to live and work in a vibrant city and have time to see and experience the culture, history etc.

Technical Authorship, or Technical Publications creation experience is not required. A strong background spanning many years in Aircraft Maintenance is required along with a Degree qualification.

Role and Duties:

• Assist the construction of technical publication system, including manual system planning, business process design, standard research and application, business rule formulation and application, manual quality control.
• Carry out technical audit and language audits based on the requirements for writing maintenance publications, analyse problems and put forward improvement and suggestions.
• Carry out preparation guidance and personnel training according to the quality status of the manual and customer opinions.

• Review the translation of publications and be in charge within this activity.
• Provide technical support for overseas customers.
• Able to to provide at least one company level and four department level professional qualification general trainings, for young employees every year in aircraft maintenance procedures.

• Education: Bachelors degree or above, with aviation professional background, familiar with aircraft avionics, structure, overall related aircraft systems.
• Native English speaker, with over 10 years of aviation maintenance- experience.
• Rich aviation maintenance work experience, understand aircraft avionics, machinery, engines structures, process, troubleshooting, non-destructive testing and other professional knowledge, familiar with EASA. FAA continuous airworthiness documents.
