We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical building services systems across a variety of projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and compliant solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and passionate about sustainable building design. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical building services systems including HVAC, domestic water services, drainage, and low-carbon technologies Produce mechanical calculations, specifications, schematics, and technical reports Prepare and review drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit Coordinate designs with electrical, architectural, and structural teams Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and client requirements Support projects from concept design through to construction and handover Attend design meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers About You Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering Experience in mechanical design within the building services sector Good understanding of UK building regulations, CIBSE guidance, and industry standards Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit (MEP experience desirable) Experience carrying out thermal, ventilation, and plant sizing calculations ..... full job details .....
