Complaints and Information Governance Team Leader (Children''s Services)We are currently recruiting for an experienced Complaints and Information Governance (IG) Team Leader to join Children''s Services This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Head of Complaints, Information Governance and Business Support, with responsibility for leading a high-performing team that manages complaints, statutory enquiries and information governance across the Directorate.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop and manage the delivery of complaints handling, Members'' enquiries, Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, individual rights requests and enquiries from statutory agenciesEnsure appropriate resources are deployed to deliver an efficient, effective and timely service across the portfolioPromote a culture of best practice, learning and continuous improvement in complaints handling and information governanceEnsure compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirementsDevelop, implement and maintain policies, systems, processes, performance frameworks and governance standardsInterpret complex national policy and legislation and translate this into effective operational practice, acting as the Directorate''s subject-matter expertProvide strategic oversight that enhances organisational effectiveness and service deliveryManage complex, sensitive and contentious investigations, applying innovative solutions that protect the Council''s reputationBuild strong, collaborative ..... full job details .....
